Utah Ratteries is composed of two small ratteries located in the Salt Lake City area. We have been breeding rats for about five years. Our rats are handled, loved and basically spoiled rotten from birth. Our goal in breeding rats is to improve the health and temperament of our lines. Although we do often breed for color and markings, we do so only with the healthiest and sweetest of rats. We do not breed rats with aggressive tendencies, tumors, or respiratory problems. If you do experience problems with ANY of our rats, please let us know so that we can keep our records up to date and avoid passing on unwanted traits. All of our rats come with a pedigree - ask if you would like a copy. If you are looking for a particular type of rat, e-mail us and let us know. We will be planning future breedings based partly on interest, and would be happy to place you on a waiting list for future litters. June 2 update- We have babies! Here, there and everywhere.
